We don’t advertise much. A big proportion of our business comes through referrals from satisfied members, and we like it that way. It means we can spend more time focusing on delivering great service, and less time on deciding where we should advertise. Please bear this in mind when you use us - the success of our business relies on word-of-mouth, so do pass on the word if you are happy with our service.

Q. Is the breakdown assistance for four wheelers or two wheelers ?
|

RESCUE provides assistance for both two wheelers and four wheelers.

Q. What are the membership charges?
|
|
|
|
|
We charge Rs 549 per year for two wheelers and Rs 999 per year for four wheelers.
|

Q. RESCUE covers the vehicle. – what does that mean? Am I covered in any Vehicle?
|
|
|
|
RESCUE membership is a vehicle based membership. At RESCUE we cover the vehicle, not the rider/ driver. This means we cover your vehicle no matter who's driving it. So you can rest assured that even if it's your mum, brother, daughter, friend or driver and not you, riding/ driving your vehicle they're covered if your vehicle breaks down. We only cover the vehicle registered with us.

Q. What are the services offered by Rescue?
|
|
|
|
We offer 24 hours roadside vehicle breakdown assistance, which includes repairing of puncture, delivery of emergency fuel, roadside repairs of minor mechanical faults, towing, medical assistance etc.

Q. How quickly will you reach the breakdown spot?
|
|
|
|
We’ve been maintaining an average reach time of 20-30 minutes.

Q. So my vehicle breaks down, What next?
|
|
|
|
If your vehicle breaks down, call our 24-hour RESCUE line for assistance. Please quote your membership number, give us details of your location as well as your contact telephone number. We will first attempt to repair your vehicle on the spot, if this is not possible we will tow the vehicle to the nearest garage to undertake the repair.

Q. Will RESCUE pay for labour or parts needed to repair the vehicle?
|
|
|
|
RESCUE does not charge for labor of any roadside repairs to vehicle. The member would have to pay for any spare part replaced by our mechanics on the roadside. Any work carried out, other than roadside assistance, will be a separate contract between you and the repairing garage.

Q. How well are your mechanics trained on various makes/models of the cars/bikes?
|
|
|
|
Our mechanics are well trained to resolve any kind of breakdown issues of most makes and models of vehicles. However at present we do not accept memberships for 2 stroke Scooters, Mopeds, Ambassadors, Premier Padmini's, SUV's and any imported cars. We are in the process of recruiting a few technicians who would be capable enough to fix breakdown issues of SUV's. We do not plan on extending our subscriptions to Ambassadors, Premier Padmini's and imported cars in the near future.

Q. Do your mechanics come with all the right tools?
|
|
|
|
Yes! Our mechanics carry a full range of tools to tackle a number of different breakdowns. They also carry a wide selection of spare parts.

Q. What in case of Major Mechanical faults?
|
|
|
|
In case of major mechanical faults which can't be solved on the road, vehicle will be towed to nearest authorised service station or the service station of your choice .
|

Q. How does your team reach the spot. (by bus/two wheeler/four wheeler)?
|
|
|
|
Our team of technicians travels by either two wheelers or four wheelers depending on the breakdown issue. For all two wheeler breakdowns our crew arrives on bikes. For four wheelers it depends on the breakdown issue. For eg. if it is a change of a flat tyre we usually send our technicians on their bikes. For any other kind of breakdown which would involve changing of spares or jump starts etc. we dispatch our technicians on breakdown trucks.

Q. What happens if my vehicle breaks down outside Bangalore?
|
|
|
|
We do provide assistance in case of major breakdowns or accidents (Only for four wheelers). This service would incur extra charges.

Q. How can i be sure of the standards of the garages?
|
|
|
|
Each garage selected to join the RESCUE network is required to meet exacting standards and is inspected regularly to ensure those standards are being maintained.

|
|
|
|
Q. What happens if I change my vehicle?
|
|
|
|
Your membership can be transferred to the other vehicle, subject to conditions.

Q. How is the No Call-out discount(NCD) determined?

You will receive a 10% discount on your renewal fee if you have not called us out during your membership year.

Q. Are you a member of any association or guild?
|
|
|
|
No. There are some so-called associations or guilds that will sell anyone a membership logo for an annual fee, providing a thin veneer of respectability for their members. Given that the average consumer will not know which guilds or associations are reputable and which are not, we have chosen not to align ourselves with any association or guild.

Q. Will you be able to provide service on PAY ON CALL basis?
|
|
|
|
We work on a membership model. We usually try and convert non member calls into RESCUE members. However in dire emergencies we have helped out certain customers on a pay on call basis, these have usually been for SUV's and cars we do not accept for memberships. We are concentrating on expanding business solely through the membership model
