The Buyers Dilemma
A RESCUE member decided to go for his childhood dream - to own a classic Yezdi RoadKing. He managed to stumble upon several resellers, but was unsure as to which one to choose. Upon zeroing in on one of the bikes he wisely called RESCUE for help with an inspection and vehicle valuation which he availed at a nominal cost. The RESCUE technician scrutinized and realized that the bike was priced more than its value and was also much older than what was stated by the owner. The motorbike appeared to be in immaculate condition on the exterior, however, its heart -the engine, and a few other critical components were in an unsatisfactory condition. The motorbike price was then renegotiated and a vehicle reconditioning was initiated. Thanks to Team RESCUE, the buyer received a timely and an appropriate advice.
